What AURUM cannot know
We don’t claim “no one can ever know you.” We only designed it so that AURUM itself cannot know who you are.
Keys live on your phone
When you sign up, the keys are created on your device. They never leave it. Our servers never see them.
Nothing collected at sign-up
No phone number, no real name, no email. Information we never receive cannot leak.
Verifiable encryption
We use a trusted, open-source encryption standard. An independent security audit is planned.
- We collect no phone number, real name, or email at sign-up — information we never receive cannot leak.
- Only you and the people you’re talking to can read your 1:1 and small-group chats. Not even we can.
- However, by law (Korea’s Protection of Communications Secrets Act) we retain access logs (IP address and access time) for 12 months. We do not use them for marketing or tracking.
- We show no ads and sell no data. We have no third-party trackers in the app.
As of 2026-06-22 — we have received no government request to produce user data.
